You too?!! I actually noticed the change in weather last evening when we sat down to dinner outside....it was noticeably cooler. I won't complain though, because then it means ideal hiking weather. :-)

As per your question on how do food bloggers[....?] -- I've often wondered that as well. I don't even work and I can't find time to keep up on these things. But then in my case, it's probably for the fact that I'd rather spend it outside than in front of the pc. Oh well.... ;-)

One last thing...I just read your comment on the riccio in my newsfeed. Heh heh...sorry, but that one we put back where we found it. Having a terrier at home does not do a wild critter any good. She (Maddie) goes after anything that enters her property!

We have a terrier too and our hedgehog is not that happy about it either. What kind of terrier do you have?

These noodles look delicious! I love Thai flavors and they really fit any season! Maybe the foodbloggers who respond to every event have some entries backlogged, or maybe they have more leisure time. I try to participate once in awhile when the mood strikes me or I am inspired by the theme.

YES...there's now an 8th day...it's called SaMoThunday, and falls somewhere between Monday and Saturday, on alternating weeks, of course. :)

Actually, Mia, I feel lucky that you participated in this event and shared this beautiful time with us.

You and your sister look so much alike! I'd tell instantly that you were sisters. And it's lovely that you're so close and can enjoy cooking together. That's truly a blessing! Your mom would be very proud!

What can I say, I am the luckiest, because I was there! I had a wonderful time cooking with you. The pictures of the food came out beautiful. What a lovely time you both had ... my sister lives thousands of miles away, and she's just been visiting - it's lovely to do things together, find time to talk and laugh. We didn't make time to cook together, although we ate a lot of meals together. Lovely things you ate - and you both look so happy in the photographs

I'm so glad someone else made the peppers. They were really excellent. I made a picnic and shared with my husband. Your chicken would have been excellent also. Wonderful all the friends food brings together.

What a fantastic write-up for this event! There's nothing like cooking with a sister!

Regarding your comment on the octopus...you are the FIRST person ever to more or less "agree" with what I've done. I will admit to doing stuff for the shock value (like surprising my neighbors), and if you're the sort of gal that would do such a thing, then you rock! If you ever decide to make that cold octopus and celery salad and post it on your site, I'll be the first to try it. I luuuuuv octopus!

@Rowena -- yea as IF I can find a damn octopus in Germany. The Turkish fish store nearby has them very very rarely, and then only baby ones. I miss Italy.
