Samantha to the rescue
I've been getting some crap about the Thailand - Italy comparison from my previous post. Lo and behold, I now have back-up. My ideas are echoed in an article by Samantha Brown which I luckily came across today: Thailand, the Italy of Asia. As she very eloquently puts it, "Just as in Italy, eating is at the forefront of every Thai's mind, all the time." Is this the place for me or what!?
Course she's ten times better at explaining it than I am ... so, whew. Thanks Samantha.
