i'm sorry. your sentiments are beautifully expressed and completely understood. it's okay to have such mixed emotions - they make us more human.

i think remembering your nonna as she was is is probably a very healthy and good thing to do right now.

your mom is in a better place and perhaps now your grandmother is taking care of her, or better yet, they are taking care of each other.
