We invited Simone and Carsten over for aperitifs and nibbles (I love this French habit!). They are the sweetest pair and so enjoyable to be around. On the menu, slightly-steamed carrots and green beans, and radishes with aoili; provencal olives; crunchy onion grissini; mini-puff-pastry bites; prosciutto wrapped Cavillion melon wedges; mixed olive and black olive tapenades; and of course, french bread.
We munched and talked for hours, and then everyone went in for naps. You can see a few more pics here.
