Mia: You have an outstanding blog here, one that I have really enjoyed reading. So much so, in fact, that I thought I would let you know that I picked Nosh as one of the five blogs to feature on my site for "Blog Day 2005." Keep up the great work!

Hi Mia - this courgette flowers look/sound delicious! I remember I was a bit suspicious about using beer for the batter when I first made fish & chips, but it works really well, doesn't it?

@ all -- I'm all smiles at your comments.
@NS:
What more can I say except thank you! and that I'm honored to be featured on a blog of San Francisco Gourmet's caliber. I've also loved reading all of your posts and am so glad you've joined the food blogging community. I always look forward to your next entry.
@Keiko:
Yes! Putting beer in the batter makes it frothy and light -- and it's especially good with the great local beer we have in Munich. Your blog and your photos especially are an inspiration. I'm still ooooing over your photos of British summer...
@Pim:
Then go taste them, Woman! Be sure to use a nice German beer -- have you brought any back from your travels here? I loved your post of Khao-pad Panang Goong - I'm saving that recipe for a special evening, when I have an excuse to buy big beautiful (and very expensive here) prawns. The dish looked absolutely delicious.

I love this entry! Absolutely one of my favorite foods and I so rarely get to have them. Thanks very much for participating in this month's IMBB!
