Lovely story about the best 4,85 EUR spend! I always knew rosé *is* (or at least: can be) a very grown up wine. I will try to get a bottle of the wine you tested, because wine you fall in love with, can't be too bad. Cheers!
(ps. saw you read Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking....I just bought this book a few weeks ago: great reading, great book!)

hi KitchenQueen!
Let me know what you think of the wine -- it was beautiful! We ate simple, grilled zucchini and peppers - brushed with olive oil, s&p, mint, and a squeeze of lemon - alongside, and the wine shone like a star. (I am in love, aren't I!? Soon I'll be hanging around outside the wine shop to catch a glimpse of the bottle.)
Love the Marcella Hazan book - she's like a patient teacher who doesn't leave out any details. I enjoy making the Carciofi a la Romana as often as I can get good artichokes.
Thanks for stopping by!

Mia
very good choice, this rose is indeed one of the best for a cheap price. I found it myself a few months ago in a local store.
