WOW. This sounds (and looks) scrumptious. Of all the IMBB entries Ive read so far, this one's the first that I want to try and make. A savory muffin- I love the idea of that! The flavors you've chosen are brillant and I can only imagine they taste even better all together. Great entry!

Excellent! This is the first savory one I've seen, and defintely do-able. I love how your picture loses its sense of scale... I can imagine this being an 8-inch across muffin!

This looks like pure genius. Some of my fave flavors, all together. I wish my IMBB entry had been so creative.

I love goat cheese, and this looks just incredible. I don't like to bake all that very much, but this may have convinced me to give it a try!

Thanks for all of your comments! I really enjoyed the muffins' tender texture, how the pears partially melt into the muffin, and how that balances with the creaminess and crunch from the other ingredients.
I like the idea of caramelizing the pears or adding a sprinkling of diced pears to the top of each muffin before baking so that they get nice and brown. Or caramelized shallots? Mmm.
I enjoyed this IMBB so much -- everyone had such beautiful entries -- this had to be the best one yet!
