hi mia!
that microwaveable spotted dick looks frightening. sometimes i crave twiglets so much i contemplate paying through the nose for one of these online britshops to send them out to me, but aauugggggh, i haven't succumbed. yet.
it's not only the prices, but the shipping costs!

I know! Imagine the money one could make by offering a low-cost shipping solution for products going to/from europe to/from the u.s, the south-pacific, and a few other key locations where expats live. One would only need to set up a few strategic bases, ship palettes cheaply by sea, and open up shop on the internet. Then Santos could have her Twiglets (and Marmite) at a reasonable cost.

I'm not sure what, if any, American foods I'd miss overseas, but I'll tell you what -- if there was an Australian Shop somewhere in California, I'd pay hella cash for some Tim-Tams:

On second thought, if I actually can procure these here, please don't tell me. The last thing I need right now is eight boxes of Tim Tams sitting around the house.

Chickend and mint sauce crisps (chips) taste like cardboard with MSG and dried oinions. Yummy.
